1. What Shop Bridge KE does
We provide a personal shopping and shipping service. On your instruction we purchase goods from U.S. retailers, receive them at our U.S. warehouse, and arrange international shipping to Kenya through authorised logistics providers. We act as your purchasing agent, not as the retailer or the manufacturer.
All quotations are prepared and approved manually by our team. No price, availability, tax or shipping charge on this website is an automatic offer to sell.
2. Quotations
A quotation is valid for the period stated on it and is issued in Kenyan shillings. Each line is labelled as either estimated or confirmed. Estimated lines — including retailer tax, domestic shipping and international shipping — may change before purchase or dispatch because they depend on third parties.
Where a confirmed charge changes before we purchase, we contact you for approval before proceeding. We never invent prices, payment confirmations, retailer availability or shipping updates.
3. Service fee
Our shopping service fee is 10% of merchandise value, with a minimum of KSh 750 per order. The fee is shown as a separate line on every quotation and is never hidden in an exchange rate.
4. Payment
We accept M-Pesa and bank transfer to our official business accounts. Payment details are confirmed only through our published contacts. We will never ask you to pay a personal number or a third party.
We begin purchasing only after payment has been verified by our team. A payment is verified when we can see it in our account and match it to your order number.
5. Purchases, availability and substitutions
Retailer stock can change between quotation and purchase. If an item is unavailable, out of stock in your size, or the price has moved beyond the quoted estimate, we will tell you and offer the options: wait, substitute with your approval, or refund the affected amount.
6. Shipping and delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. They depend on retailer dispatch, carrier schedules and customs clearance. We publish only shipment milestones that our team has confirmed with the carrier.
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery city and a reachable phone number. Where you choose to collect, bring the order number and identification.
7. Customs, duty and taxes
Import duty, VAT and other levies assessed by the Kenya Revenue Authority are payable by the customer unless your quotation states they are included. We do not under-declare values or misdescribe goods.
If a shipment is held or delayed by customs, we will tell you what has been requested and help where we can, but we cannot guarantee release.
8. Restricted and prohibited goods
We cannot purchase or ship live animals or plants, perishable food, prescription medication, flammable or hazardous materials, weapons and ammunition, counterfeit goods, or any item requiring a licence we do not hold. We may decline a request at our discretion, and will tell you why.
9. Returns and damage
Retailer return policies generally apply only within the United States, so returns are limited. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, report it within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and your order number. We will raise the matter with the retailer or carrier and tell you honestly what remedy is available.
10. Cancellation
You may cancel before we purchase the goods and receive a refund of amounts paid, less any payment charges we have already incurred. Once goods are purchased or in transit, cancellation depends on whether the retailer or carrier allows a return, and the outcome is not guaranteed.
11. Liability
Our responsibility is limited to the service we provide. We are not liable for a retailer’s acts or omissions, carrier delays outside our control, customs decisions, or loss arising from inaccurate information you supplied. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Kenyan law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@shopbridgeke.com.
